Your "Standard" Toilet Pan has holes that go right through the pan so it can be bolted underneath.
Your "Blind" Pan holes don't and the bolts cannot be accessed underneath. If you have a "Blind" pan you need to let us know upon ordering and WE WILL FIT IT FOR YOU FREE OF CHARGE. IF YOU DON'T ORDER AT SAME TIME, you will have to attach to your Lupi Lu yourself when the "Blind" fixing needs to be sent out afterwards. Fitting Most Standard Australian toilets, you simply replace your normal toilet seat with the Lupi Lu which has separate toddler and adult seats integrated into the one unit.
Let's talk toilet pans. What type do you have?
There are two types of toilet pans currently available.
The first and most common, which we will refer to as a standard pan, features two post holes at the back of the pan to attach a toilet seat. These holes go right through the pan and the bolts and nuts holding your existing toilet seat will be visible from underneath the pan.
The second type of pan has what is commonly referred to as a blind fixing attachment to secure the toilet seat. The post holes in these pans are not visible from underneath the pan and the toilet seat has a fixing plate that screws into the holes. The toilet seat attaches to this fixing plate.
I have a standard pan
Ok, now we know you have a standard pan there are couple of measurements you need to check.
1. The post holes in your toilet pan need to be between 125 – 170mm apart. The fixing bolts run along a channel that allows them to be adjusted to fit holes in this range.
2. The post holes in your pan need to be at least 70mm from the closest part of your cistern. This is to ensure the all the seats will stay up when lifted.
I have a blind fixing pan
As with the standard pan, there are a couple of measurements you need to check.
1. The post holes in your toilet pan need to be between 145 – 155mm apart. The fixing bolts run along a channel that allows them to be adjusted to fit holes in this range.
2. The post holes in your pan need to be at least 70mm from the closest part of your cistern. This is to ensure the all the seats will stay up when lifted.

How do I install the Lupi Lu?
1) Simply unscrew your existing toilet seat.
2) Remove the Lupi Lu from it's box and insert the supplied bolts into the the tabs at each end of the fixing channel.
3) Place the Lupi Lu toilet seat down onto the toilet pan, ensuring the bolts go through the pan holes.
4) Place the supplied washer on and nut on the bolt and tighten.
5) Fix the end caps onto the fixing channel.

Are all the hinges soft close?
No. The soft close hinge operates for the adult seat and the entire lid section. The smaller toddler lid has it's own hinge which is not soft close.
Renting or moving house, can I take the Lupi Lu with me?
The Lupi Lu can be easily removed if you need to move house. Just keep your old toilet seat when you remove it and screw it back onto the toilet pan once the Lupi Lu is removed.
